What Veriloot does
- Price comparison: for every skin, the cheapest listing on each marketplace we track, with the time it was read.
- Selling fee calculator: what you actually get when you sell, once each marketplace’s fee is taken off.
- The Chrome extension: on a skin’s listing, it shows where the same item sells for less and how old that price is.
- With your Steam account, read-only: tracking for your public inventory, favourites and price alerts. No password, no trades. The details are on the pricing page.
- Guides on buying, selling and fees, and rankings built from the same readings.
What sets Veriloot apart
Five things you can check on the site, numbers included.
- 21 marketplaces compared. The full list, with each one’s fee, is on the Marketplaces page.
- The seller’s net, not just the listed price: each marketplace’s fee is deducted. 12 marketplaces have a fee page with the source and date of their fee schedule, and an estimated fee is labelled as such. Work out your selling fees.
- Every price carries the time it was read, in Paris time, and anything we haven’t measured shows as “—”, never 0. How fresh each source is gets published on the Source status page.
- Steam credit is kept separate. A Steam balance can’t be withdrawn, so it is never ranked alongside the money other marketplaces pay out.
- A Steam Market sales history kept since February 2013. Our CS2 skin market statistics are built on it, with the sample and method next to every number.
Who uses Veriloot
We don’t publish numbers about our visitors. Here are the jobs Veriloot is built for, and who does them.
- The player buying a specific skin: they look for the cheapest listing across every marketplace and check how old the price is before paying.
- The player selling: they compare what each marketplace leaves them after fees, and see whether they get paid in cash or in Steam credit.
- The player tracking their inventory: they connect their Steam account read-only and see what their items are worth at the prices we read.
- The one waiting for a price: they pin a skin to their favourites and set an alert to hear when the price moves.
- The one writing about the market, creator or journalist: they quote the price gap index or our statistics, with their date and method.
