What Veriloot publishes

Every amount, and its limits, is explained in our method.

Where the prices come from

Prices are the ones published by the marketplaces we track: Steam, Skinport, CSFloat, DMarket, market.csgo, Waxpeer, Tradeit, SkinBaron, White.Market, LIS-SKINS, CS.TRADE, HaloSkins, CS.MONEY, 49skins, BUFF163, C5Game, YouPin, Mannco.store, CS.MONEY Trade and LOOT.Farm.

Some quotes reach us through a relay, SteamDataAPI, which converts some of them itself. The buying table then labels them “Converted by SteamDataAPI”.

Our own dollar-to-euro conversions use the European Central Bank’s reference rates.

The marketplaces page gives each marketplace’s selling fee, and says when it is estimated or not provided. The method page lists the fee schedules we checked, with the date we checked them.

How the numbers are checked and dated

Every quote carries its source and the time it was read. An outdated or unusable quote is left out of the buying reference.

Consistency checks can exclude quotes, but they don’t verify every listing. Always check the listing on the marketplace before you decide.

Anything we haven’t measured shows as “—”, never 0. A marketplace with no quote is not a marketplace at zero.

A price page shows when its prices were read, in Paris time. A ranking shows the date of the data it displays.

A guide shows “Updated …”: that is the date of its text. It changes when the text changes, not when a price moves.

Report a mistake

A wrong price, an outdated fee, a broken link, an inaccurate sentence: tell us through the contact form or at veriloot@gmail.com, with the address of the page.

We check the report against the source, on the marketplace or in its fee schedule, then fix the page. When the fix changes a guide’s text, we update its “Updated” date too.

Independence and money

Some marketplace links may earn Veriloot a commission. They are labelled “affiliate link”. Marketplaces concerned today: HaloSkins, SkinBaron, 49skins, DMarket, Tradeit, LIS-SKINS, CS.TRADE. Affiliate status does not change the order of compared prices.

No marketplace pays for its place in the ranking. No ads: no ad network is loaded on the site.

Not affiliated with Valve or Steam. Prices are indicative. Public comparison needs no account, and nothing is billed today.
