Terms and conditions
Terms of use for Veriloot and terms of sale for the subscription.
Last updated:
The service and the subscription are offered by Veriloot, entreprise individuelle, operating under the French micro-entreprise regime. Company registration: SIREN 900466996. E-mail: veriloot@gmail.com.
1. What the service does, and what it does not
Veriloot is an information service: it compares listed prices of Counter-Strike 2 items across several marketplaces, estimates what a sale would net after fees, and tracks how those prices move.
It does not buy, sell, hold or trade any item, collects no payment on behalf of a marketplace, and offers no gambling, case opening, draw or betting. Prices shown are indicative and timestamped: they reflect what the sources published at the stated time, never a guarantee of a trade.
Nothing the service displays is investment advice. Item values can change, including following a decision by the game’s publisher.
2. How we rank offers
Default ranking criterion: estimated proceeds after selling fees, descending, for selling. “Net after fees” means the asking price minus known selling commissions. Withdrawal, payment or conversion fees not included in the calculation may reduce the amount received; this is not a guaranteed buy offer. On buying screens the ranking is instead by the asking price, ascending, brought to a common euro reference so that marketplaces quoting different currencies can be compared, excluding any payment or conversion fees; the criterion in use is stated on every results page.
Ranking parameters: each platform’s commission rate (for selling only), the currency and exchange rate applied, and how fresh the quote is. A platform with no known quote may appear as unavailable: it is never shown with a price of zero.
Remuneration: Veriloot may receive a commission from some of the marketplaces it compares when you reach their site through one of its links. Each such link is marked “affiliate link”. A link without that mark is the marketplace’s public address, with no partner identifier, and earns Veriloot no commission. Ranking depends only on the criteria described above: estimated net proceeds for selling, the asking price on the common reference for buying. Whether a link is an affiliate link or not does not change the ranking: remuneration never moves a marketplace up a rank.
3. Your account
Accounts are created by signing in with Steam. We never see your Steam password. You are responsible for the use made of your account and must report any sign-in you did not make.
Signing up for news or skin-deal emails is optional and separate from your account and paid subscription. It requires the choices and confirmation described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. What deletion does exactly is described in the privacy policy.
4. The subscription
Free plan features, subscription features and checkout availability are described on the Pricing page. An account on the Free plan does not become paid without your order. When Free plan limits apply, you can open up to 10 different item pages per day, counted per account or, without an account, per connection address; pages opened with an account also count for the connection address used, so signing out does not reopen the limit; one page covers a skin, all its wears and StatTrak™ or Souvenir variants included, and comparing another player’s inventory counts as one page, once a day per inventory; reopening a page already viewed that day does not count, and the count resets at midnight, Paris time. A subscription removes this limit. Historical coverage depends on the data available for each item and marketplace. “Unlimited” means normal personal use of the service. Automated or clearly abusive use may be limited to protect the service. Complimentary Pro access may be granted with an end date or without a fixed end date and is managed by the administrator. Its end does not trigger payment or a paid subscription.
Accepted version: each version of these terms is identified by its update date, shown at the top of this page. The version in force when you subscribe is recorded with the order, with its date and time, and appears in your personal data export (Settings). Later changes to these terms do not alter the recorded version.
Price and term: the total amount, currency, billing interval and offer features are summarised before payment. The subscription renews automatically at each billing date until cancelled.
Launch offer: subscribers to this offer keep their subscription rate while the subscription continues without interruption. Scheduling cancellation does not change the current period’s rate. Once the subscription has ended, a new subscription is charged at the rate then in effect.
VAT: VAT not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. The prices shown are therefore the amounts actually due: no tax is added at payment.
Payment: the subscription payment form is hosted by our payment provider. Card details are not stored on our servers.
Activation and confirmation: the subscription is active immediately once our payment provider confirms payment; no processing delay applies. It emails you an invoice stating the plan purchased, its amount and its date: that is your confirmation on a durable medium, and it stays available at any time from My subscription. Your acceptance of these terms is recorded with the subscription, in the version displayed on that date.
5. Referrals
Every account has a referral code, shown on your Referrals page. Someone who enters that code before their first subscription becomes your referee. Referrals have a single level: your referee’s own referrer gets nothing.
What you get: once your referee’s first payment is actually collected, one month of Pro is given to the referrer and one month to the referee. Signing up, opening a payment page or receiving a zero-amount invoice does not trigger it. It is granted once per referee; later renewals open no further right.
When the month runs: a granted month starts at the end of the subscription period already paid for, if there is one, and after any granted months that have not yet run out. Months therefore never overlap. A granted month suspends no ongoing payment, cannot be converted into money or a refund, and is neither transferable nor exchangeable.
Reversal: if the payment that triggered the grant is refunded, both months are taken back. The part that has not yet run ends on the day of the reversal; what has already been used is not invoiced.
Limits: an account cannot refer itself, a referee can have only one referrer, and an account that already holds a subscription can no longer enter a code. We may suspend a code, refuse a referral or take back a granted month in case of fraudulent use, in particular accounts created to refer one another. Partner status, where granted, is decided case by case and covered by an agreement separate from these terms.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you subscribe as a consumer, you have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Accepting these terms is neither an express request for early performance nor a waiver of that right.
You must communicate an unambiguous decision before the deadline, sent to veriloot@gmail.com. An email is enough: no particular form is required, and you do not have to give a reason. You may use the model form below if you wish — its use is optional.
To Veriloot — veriloot@gmail.com I hereby give notice of my withdrawal from the contract for the following service: Ordered on: …………………………………… Consumer name: …………………………………… Consumer address: …………………………………… Date: ……………………………………
We acknowledge your decision by email, on a durable medium, as soon as it is processed.
On withdrawal, amounts due for reimbursement are returned within 14 days of receiving your decision, using the same payment method unless you expressly agree to another method at no cost.
7. Cancelling
You can request cancellation from Settings → My subscription and confirm your choice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: you retain the corresponding access until that date and renewal stops. You can undo scheduled cancellation before that date.
This stops future renewals and is separate from exercising the right of withdrawal described above.
8. Failed payment
If a renewal payment fails, you can update your payment method from My subscription. Subscription status and access dates are displayed there. Without settlement, paid access ends; Free plan features remain available. Once the payment provider confirms payment, access is updated without taking out a second subscription to the same plan.
9. Availability and statutory warranties
Data comes from Steam and third-party marketplaces. Updates depend on access to these sources; a listing may change or disappear after collection. An unavailable quote is not a zero price. An estimate guarantees neither a sale nor a withdrawal amount.
These limitations do not remove your rights under statutory warranties applicable to the digital service.
Statutory warranty of conformity for digital services. Veriloot must supply a conforming service and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of supply, and for any arising throughout the period during which the service is supplied (Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). Where the service is not in conformity, you may require it to be brought into conformity free of charge; failing that, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract. You do not have to prove the defect: throughout the supply period, the burden of proof lies with us. These rights are exercised by writing to veriloot@gmail.com, independently of any other warranty and at no cost to you. No clause of these terms may set them aside or limit them.
10. Complaints and governing law
Complaints may be sent to veriloot@gmail.com. Under French Consumer Code art. L612-1, a consumer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer ombudsman. Veriloot has not yet joined a consumer mediation scheme: the ombudsman’s name and contact details will be stated here once it has joined. This deprives you of no remedy: the European Commission publishes the list of consumer dispute resolution bodies across the Member States (consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu), and the competent courts remain open.
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the protective rules of the consumer’s country of residence.
