Before you start

Common questions.

What does it cost?

The beta is open, with no payment and no announced end date. Compare prices without an account; sign in with Steam to access your inventory, favourites and alerts.

What can I track with my Steam account?

During the beta, sign in with Steam to access your favourites, create price alerts and see the value of your public inventory.

Can I buy or sell directly here?

No. Veriloot compares prices and takes you to the marketplace to buy or sell. No trades are made on your behalf.

Is the best price guaranteed?

No. Prices reflect the latest observations from the marketplaces we track. A listing may change or sell before you open it.

Does my inventory have to be public?

Yes, even after signing in. Your Steam inventory must be public for Veriloot to read it.

How do I recover what I paid?

Connect a supported marketplace in your settings to import the purchases it makes available. Steam does not publish what you paid, so no import will find it. You can enter the price and date yourself on your own inventory — it is your figure, visible to you alone, and it feeds no comparison.

What about knives with a specific float or phase?

Check the float, pattern and phase on the listing before buying: the comparison does not pick the item for you. For a Doppler, every phase shares the same Steam name; the price shown is the group minimum, and the phase it belongs to is named next to it. That is not necessarily the one you want.
