What these fees cover
The seller fee comes out of the sale price when your item sells. Buyer fees are added to the listed price, where the marketplace publishes one. Withdrawal fees apply when you move the money to your bank or another payout method: we don’t track them marketplace by marketplace, so nothing here deducts them. Payment and currency conversion fees aren’t included either.
A worked example on a real price
The cheapest AK-47 | Redline (Field-Tested) listing on DMarket was €22.84, recorded on 1 Oct 2026 at 15:31, Paris time. Sold at that price, our calculation takes €1.15 in fees (5%): you keep €21.69.
DMarket charges in dollars: the fee is applied in that currency at the ECB rate of 30 Sept 2026 ($1 = €0.880669), then brought back to euros. The result is approximate, to within a cent.
With a fee published as a range, this amount is an estimate.
A listing price isn’t the price your own item will sell for, and withdrawal isn’t deducted.
