Steam fees: what you keep when you sell

Steam doesn’t take its fees out of the listed price: it adds a 5% Steam fee and a 10% Counter-Strike 2 fee on top of what you receive. That amount lands as Steam credit, which you can’t withdraw.

What these fees cover

Steam takes nothing off the listed price: its fees are added to the amount you set, and the buyer pays the total, fees included. What you get lands as Steam credit, which can’t be withdrawn: no withdrawal fee to count, and no cash to take out either. Payment and currency conversion fees aren’t included here.

A worked example on a real price

The cheapest AK-47 | Redline (Field-Tested) listing on Steam was €31.88, recorded on 2 Oct 2026 at 03:00, Paris time. Sold at that price, our calculation takes €4.15 in fees (13%): you keep €27.73.

This amount is Steam credit, not withdrawable money.

A listing price isn’t the price your own item will sell for, and withdrawal isn’t deducted.
